Peggy M. Jackson, DPA, CPCU, is an author, consultant, and nationally recognized lecturer on risk management, business continuity planning, and strategic planning. She is a Principal with Peg Jackson & Associates in Walnut Creek, CA. Her specialty areas include Done in a Day® risk management, business continuity planning and strategic planning Dr. Jackson has written or co-authored nine books on risk management, business continuity planning, and strategic planning for nonprofit and small business audiences for publishers John Wiley & Sons and BEW. In August of this year, Dr. Jackson presented a workshop on Accelerated Strategic Planning at the ACCE Convention in Savannah, GA. 

Dr. Jackson earned a doctorate in public administration (DPA) from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and holds the professional designation of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). She designed the Jackson Risk Management Model© as part of an award-winning doctoral dissertation on risk management techniques. She is a member of the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce, the Culver City Chamber of Commerce, the Los Angeles Chapter of the CPCU Society and Small Business California. She is also an Associate Member of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) and of the Western Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (WACE).
